An Yên Eatery and Café

An Yen Eatery & Café is a small and ample Vietnamese dinner in the centre of Melbourne. Bringing a unique and nostalgic experience of Vietnamese home cook dishes to the Western community, with authentic and original recipes from your very hometown. The project featuring branding, stationery and store application indicates the homely concept through written content and a vibrant colour palette with original food photography. The design is inspired by the shape of doors and windows in Vietnam, as it shares the concept of embrace, peace, and passion, and it welcomes everyone to range from Vietnamese to curious foreigners who want to experience. There are small circles that have a similar roundness to the logo, and it supports the idea of refining and lightness. Combined with a light form of geometric sans serif typeface, the overall design nicely represented.
